they say they're announcing things bit by bit so that people can accept the news. and absorb it as well.
but no, Hong Kong isn't even celebrating. and all that I'm feeling right now is disgust.
you don't have my pity, nor my respect i look at your photos, I don't know what it is if it's not contempt.
I asked myself why. You seem to be a good man. But now I have an answer.
A chart in the mag capturing all your 'moments', and how resentment builds up because of your actions.
I can't believe you've been that stupid really. All the wrong decisions you made. You lack the brains for making any kinds of decisions, nor the wit to cover up for any kind of mistakes you made.
Please, at least try to cover up nicely. But nah, we shouldn't expect that from you anyway. You're just not capable.
"All these years I took the blame without complaints..." That's what you say NOW on the radio. Now mister, maybe you've learnt a thing or two through these years, but clearly you've learnt it way too slow.
You didn't even know what your role was.
If all Hong Kong needed was a doormat, we could find even better ones for this purpose. You think you were hired to be blamed? You got it all wrong. A leader is to serve through motivating, making the right decisions, reassuring the public. admitting mistakes, and be brave enough to correct them.
But you were simply being the servant. And you were the one who had to be reassured.
"I could've found an easy way out by quitting long time ago. But I decided to be courageous and stay in this position to continue to lead."
Oh right, I tell you what courage is, mister -
If you were courageous enough, you would've admitted your mistakes instead of making lame excuses and then be victimized. I hate the way you victimize yourself in repeat mode. I don't believe you're being remotely courageous by seeking sympathy after you screwed up. Yea, then put the blame on everybody else for the negativity solely created by you.
If you were courageous enough, you would've admitted you were powerless, and you weren't fit for the job. You would've stepped down, because at least you have the vision to see what's best for all of us.
If you were courageous enough, you wouldn't need this pretentious show they put up for ya. This show that's trying too hard to turn your resignation into a divine promotion.
You even got me questioning your dignity.
If you were courageous enough, you didn't even have to wear that red tie. That was such a lame attempt to please your 'boss' - and things like these exactly show that you've got no mind of your own. You make no wise decision other than observe that red is the politically-correct color, so you abide by these rules that weren't even set for you.
You look like an old man with primary school boy mentality in that picture. Nice 'uniform' you had, by the way.
OK, maybe you wanted to quit, but they just wouldn't let you. That's ok. But please, NEVER again claim to be courageous. We're not that dumb to give you credit for that.
Nor will I giving you credit for being everybody's favorite doormat.
Now I understand where this grudge comes from. It's seeing someone as powerless as you are, yet again and again you call yourself courageous and you seek pity from us by claiming yourself nothing more than a doormat. It's your failure to reassure people, but instead you had to seek reassurance all the time.
